"United Sates Government = 1%"

Ah! Interesting that we installed that stat counter/analyzer only 3 days ago, and already his gracious majesty king George the Second is paying us regular visits.

We must be doing good rockin' the ole boat :-)

Something struck me yesterday while watching the news. France was bogged down yesterday with strikes everywhere. I don't know the exact number but there were groups protesting in large cities/towns and small villages. It was exciting to see. I can only imagine the French gov watching anyone if they are on a list of suspected terrorist or have been involved in a crime. You are allowed to say, 'down with the government' here. The government is the people and not a seperate entity with an iron fist.

"The government is the people and not a seperate entity with an iron fist.  "

In its preamble, the French Constitution states about France's republic that:

“it's principle shall be: “government of the people, by the people and for the people”.

Sounds uncannily like what Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson wrote together when drafting the American constitution, don't it?

Seems amazing that after centuries of autocracies European countries have at last given up the idea, and yet right-wing America now wants to revive it.

I have had visitors from Vatican City on my (gay) website. Good to see the holy Papa still has the strength to appreciate the male form.

I don't actually think the US gov is that interested yet in us. Someone probably has a job doing searces on 'bush sucks yada yada' and of course, we would be in that list. LOL

I do think US bloggers may find the going a bit tough in the future if things keep going the way they are...kinda like Iran.

New Zealand wins the country list (of course the US people are all going to be under .net, but they should actually have .us, but no the fascist American corporations think they own the internet so they control all the .com, .net domains, while the rest of us suffer)

It is good to see .mil (should be .mil.us). It shows that troops are pissed off about the Iraq War, that they care about the people and hate being sent to kill people who don't deserve it.

Interesting thought. I hope you're right, Greg.
