Also a good idea is to invest in a large and sturdy shoe box, and try secure a good warm spot in the subway's corridors.

Yes. Voltaire is probably the single most important reason why democracies exist today. JJ Rousseau was equally instrumental, even if he helped shaking the Monarch/Clergy edifice of tyranny in a different way.
