Why is George Bush President...Stupidity!

Well, I have never gone along with calling Conservatives stupid. Many have and do. I haven't and don't until now. After reading this article which is filled to overflowing with stupidity I will conceed that Conservatives are stupid, dazed, stupified and just plain old unintelligent. The article is 5 pages long but worth every bit. It will make you gasp and at time laugh right outloud. Then you will cry. God help us all. As a person who believes in God consider this a prayer.

Oh yes, John Kerry and the DNC are stupid as well.

Yes, I know they're nice people and all that. You can be nice and stupid at the same time.

You can't make a judgement without proof. Don't just say they're stupid without reading the article. Read the article, dammit! Yes, I know it's long. Read it anyway!

As a tease I'll give you this little gem taken from the article:

"We might not have had to fight World War II if someone had stood up to Hitler."

The Red Sea

I'll be cross-posting this one to Bouillabaisse as well. I just took a shower and thought I would look at the news, read a bit and sleep. I'm mad as a wet hen now. I'll probably be up all night. Maybe I'll apologize tomorrow...maybe.

ok i just finished the first page and wanted to post this cause i've been having some memory probs lately and didn't want to forget this. these people WANT arsenic in their water? *walks off shaking head*

I'll be interested in your thoughts after reading the entire article, Angie.

Completely off the subject here, but it looks like I've at last got that commenting hack to work! Took me 3 hours of battling with it. But I think it was worth it. How do you guyz and galz like it?

Hrm, I like it... where are all the non-Porquoi Pas commenters?

Dianne, like you, I don't like to call conservatives stupid. For the most part, they're not any dumber than liberals--they just think their system is best for themselves (and sometimes for other people... though I think conservative economics tend to be more self serving). The neo-cons and their nutty religious following are different. I'll check out this article in the morning. I'm tired as hell right now...

This is for you WhyNot..the maintenance man.

I deleted the previous comment I made because after posting it and refreshing the page all the center content again moved halfway down the page. I looked at the comment and can't see anything that would have caused this effect. I'm going to try again.

WhyNot...as you can see the comment on the comment didn't have the same effect. Hmm after posting this I will try again to post my original comment.

You did a great job WhyNot, as usual! It's not as cumbersome as blogger commenting. I like that it allows commenters to leave their urls. It looks sharp. The ability to see all the comments while you're writing yours is really helpful. I'm sure there's other things but I'm on my first cup of coffee after getting to bed at 3:00 am..yawn. LOL

Thanks for all the hard work!

WhyNot..in the comment I deleted I put parentheses around the word yawn and for some reason it caused the center content to move after refreshing the page. Removing these parenthesis fixed the problem. Don't ask me why. LOL

Patience my friend. Rome wasn't built in a day. It takes time and a lot of hard work to draw people to a site. This is Blogger and it has no built in community as tblog does. I literally have to blogsurf all day leaving our url and commenting on other blogs. Even then it has taken weeks for me to draw the few people I have outside tblog who comment on my Bouillabaisse site. Just continue to crosspost to your tblog site for the audience you want. It doesn't hurt to visit other sites leaving comments along with the url.

WhyNot..same problem as before when posting using html to italicize SB's question.

"WhyNot..same problem as before when posting using html to italicize SB's question."

I think it was a coincidence. I just see now the page screwing because the StatCounter JS cannot find the pic off their site and the pic placeholder is wider than the left column, causing the center column to be pushed down.

I went fiddling with the template and added some code to force the placeholder down to within the left column's width. Hopefully that fixes the problem next time SatCounter's site goes down.
